Arts & Resilience: Our Conversation With Carolynn Phillips Of The JUST US Program

In this episode of She Rocks, we talk about our feelings surrounding the two national tragedies that happened in the last few weeks. After we delve deep into what we make of these events, we cover our usual segments: fashion and entertainment. We welcome Carolynn Phillips of the JUST US program to tell us about how she’s teaching middle school girls resilience and having hard conversations with them about identity and history. Check out her students’ work at the Cameron Art Museum starting April 1, along with the work of artist Dare Coulter.
